I am a Bessie Award-winning director, choreographer, performer, movement director, and educator based in New York City. Spanning over two decades across film, television, theatre, and higher education, my career includes international tours as a performer and cast trainer with STOMP, as well as projects with Warner Bros., Amazon Prime, Netflix, PBS, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
I have performed and presented work at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, the US Open, Jacob’s Pillow, and Sadler’s Wells. Grounded in theatre, contemporary dance, street styles, Afro-diasporic traditions, and body percussion, I remain an active performer while collaborating with directors and casts.
FRITZATION
Fritzation is Fritzlyn Hector’s creative practice and movement language, bringing together rhythm, culture, performance, and storytelling. Through Fritzation, Fritzlyn develops and teaches her distinctive approach to movement, creates original works, and sets choreography on performers, schools, universities, and dance companies.
Fritzation also serves as a creative home for Fritzlyn’s original works, bringing together selected performing artists to bring her choreographic vision and voice to life.
